1 Simple Email Hack

I want to teach you a simple email hack.

Copy this right away. You’ll get more clicks to your sales pages.

This is #10 of the 24 email conversion triggers I’ve been telling you about.

First, read the following question…

“Why is intermittent fasting such a powerful fat burning method?”

Forget, for a second, whether you know what intermittent fasting is or not. Or care about weight loss.

Imagine, though, you were selling a book about it.

Somewhere in your email marketing you’d want to cover the benefits of intermittent fasting, right?

There are two ways you can present those benefits:

Method #1: With statements explicitly sharing the benefits.

Method #2: With questions presupposing the benefits.

An example of #1…

“Intermittent fasting is such a powerful fat burning method.”

An example of #2…

“Why is intermittent fasting such a powerful fat burning method?”

Most entrepreneurs and marketers are taught to use the first method — explicit benefit statements.

The problem is… explicit benefit statements are viewed by your prospects as advertising claims. As statements intended to persuade.

The kind of thing they’d expect from someone trying to sell them.

So, explicit benefit statements elicit sales resistance in the mind of your prospects. They create doubt and skepticism and lots of prospect opposition; the last things you want when attempting to generate a sale.

The savviest email marketers know this. So they rely heavily on Method #2 — questions presupposing benefits.

Here’s why…

Method #2 never triggers any sales resistance or doubt or skepticism in the mind of your prospect.

Instead, it forces your prospect to accept your benefit claim as true while they contemplate the answer to the question you’ve posed.

Let me show you what I mean.

Take a look at the Method #2 example question again…

“Why is intermittent fasting such a powerful fat burning method?”

Now, think about a possible answer to the question.

Why is it such a powerful fat burning method?

For you to even think about a possible answer, you, first, must accept that intermittent fasting IS a powerful fat burning method.

You can’t contemplate WHY it is a powerful fat burning method until you first agree it IS a powerful fat burning method.

And that agreement happens automatically. And immediately.

See, by presenting a benefit in the form of a question, your prospects are forced to immediately accept the benefit as true in order to think about the answer to the question.

“How does the E5 Method work to generate so many new customers, so quickly?”

You have to accept that the E5 Method works to generate so many new customers, so quickly, to even think about the question of how it does it.

“Why do so many top entrepreneurs endorse the E5 Method?”

You have to accept that so many top entrepreneurs endorse the E5 Method in order to contemplate why.

See: In all of these examples… and any time you deploy Email Conversion Trigger #10… it drives your prospects to see, believe, and accept the benefits of your product… without any resistance or skepticism or doubt.

Yet, if all you did, instead, was state these same benefits explicitly as statements…

“Intermittent fasting is such a powerful fat burning method.”

“The E5 Method works to generate so many new customers, so quickly.”

“So many top entrepreneurs endorse the E5 Method.”

…you’d immediately trigger a wave of sales resistance.

And you immediately depress your sales.
